Today for lunch I made the world's worst soup. Not just bad soup--the worst ever. I can't even begin to describe it--nor to explain how a bunch of cooked vegetables can mutate into such a toxic substance, and frankly, even if I could remember what I put it in I wouldn't repeat it here for fear of lawsuits and/or reprisals.
Thank heavens there was chocolate cake......

=) Yeah I think all of us have done that. I remember when I first starting cooking and I was making a chicken dish and it needed pepper cause well I like heat. I put half the tin in cause well I had not clue at the time. My mom had a good time ribbing me on that one.
Today I went grocery shopping and almost bought a can of potato soup. Then thought to myself I could make it better. Sorry to say I now have a pot od really good potato soup and I made cookies, and those soy bean things that starts with an e. I like to roast them with a little salt and pepper. Thanks for the ideas. =)
You are not alone, it has sadly happened often here! LOL
As for a good Potato soup, check out the Kraft Kitchen.... I was looking at the book, all they seem to have processed is Velveta, but you can sub that I guess.
