Day 66 - We're Living Off The Land!

Well, only slightly, but last night I did fix a casserole last night using two varieties of peppers from our garden.
I think I've lost a few of the tags, but we are growing green, red and yellow bell peppers, banana peppers, jalapeƱos, and pimentos--which seem to be really small jalapeƱos. No idea what we'll do with those, but peppers are a plant that I have always had good luck with, and frankly I like to have that sort of plant in the garden. Sort of sets a good example for the rest of the plants--especially the ones I don't always quite manage, which is almost everything else.

So the real question for the summer may ultimately be, if Toni picked a peck of pickled peppers, where's the peck of pickled peppers Toni picked and is that what everyone is getting for Christmas?

Curse you for having both tomatoes AND peppers from you garden already! (And aren't red peppers just green peppers that have been allowed to ripen? I don't know about yellow peppers.)
