Maybe I'll spend my last shopping-deprived week figuring out what to do with 30+ pumpkins...

So far I've found recipes for pumpkin flour, pumpkin bread, pumpkin soup, pumpkin butter, pumpkin waffles, baked pumpkin, pumpkin muffins, and if Andy hasn't fled in squashed-induced terror by them, we can always freeze pumpkin puree.Thank heavens it wasn't 2 zucchini plants--I think that would have been grounds for divorce.

Just a suggestion. Have you any gardening friends who might swop a couple of pumpkins for something you would find useful? Perhaps it might be more interesting to ask non-gardening friends.
Pumpkin soup - awesomeness in the fall and winter!
I have had some terrific baked pumpkin at an Afghan restaurant. I think it was spiced with cinnamon and baked like a winter squash generally...
I think Andy needs to dig you a root cellar!
