bittenbyknittin said...: So much for my appetite. Re canned whole chicken, I have done this myself, in a previous lifetime when I raised chickens. I'm not sure today's freakishly large birds would fit, but back then, when most chickens weighed in at 3 pounds, one fit into a quart jar very nicely.; February 27, 2010 at 5:44 AM
